After-School Discovery Hours
Getting Around Architecture

3:30 – 4:30 pm
Join us for one or both after-school discovery hours at WCMA! Hunt for details in WCMA’s original 1846 building and create an architectural space of your own. Each session will offer different hands-on projects and activities for children ages 4 -10.

Celebrate the finale of WCMA’s special exhibition The Book of Kings. Explore the “Crusader Bible,” try on chain mail, royal capes, and more! Illustrate a manuscript of your own and design a medieval chalice with which to toast your friends and family. Vive le roi!

Gallery Hunts
Bring your family to enjoy WCMA even when there are no special events in progress. Gallery Hunt Guides are always available in the museum lobby, providing puzzles, challenges, and interesting facts about works of art in the museum. Current guides include All Things Contemporary, Adventures in Architecture, and Objects and Inspirations.
